Proud Momma!

Noah has not always been the biggest fan of tummy time. We recently introduced the Boppy, and he's been getting better and better at lifting his head. Today we put him down without the Boppy to see what he could do. He absolutely stunned us by rolling over! He's never even shown hints at trying to do so. I thought it might be a lucky fluke, but then he did it again. I'm so proud!! We have yet to see any interest in rolling over back to front, but this is such an exciting milestone!

(For the record, it's Brian's voice.)

  1. This is such a fun stage. Every day they do something new! :)

  2. Apparently rolling over is so variable that it doesn't even count as a true milestone. Still, it's fun to watch! K had a day where she did it all the time, then since then hardly any showing off has happened.

  3. Woohoo! Charlotte started rolling over a couple of weeks ago. For the first several days, she seemed to have no control over it... we'd put her on her back, and within 5 seconds she'd be on her belly whining because she hated to be on her belly. It was miraculous watching her figure out how she'd ended up face down. Now, she rolls both back-to-front and front-to-back, and likes to stop halfway for napping on her side. We can actually predict (with questionable accuracy) how long she'll sleep based on whether she's on her side or her belly. No matter what, though, she simply won't sleep on her back any more.

    Isn't this fun?
